The Land of Dinesen and Simba: Part 1

So, now I'm trying to revive this here old blog thingie to keep a journal of our travels to South Africa. 

Things accomplished before a seventeen hour flight to Johannesburg:

1) A pedicure to make your feet all smooth and talons clipped. 

2) Make sure your checked bag is less than 50 pounds (mine clocked in at 39). 

3) Have a leisurely lunch across your gate. 

4) Board plane. 

Things to accomplish after boarding plane:

1) Take Xanax and start a nap.

Okay, I know it's been long time, so I'm going to ease into it by posting this- my 'journey' to Target. A cute flash animation I just toyed around with on Target's site in lieu of Black Friday.

P.S. I have taken some time off of blogging, simply because I have been v. busy since I got back from Spain.
